Hotshots Notebook

June 1
Hotshots top BAGAA I, 11-8 - The Hotshots grabbed a victory, powered in part by Jada White's offensive performance. The Hotshots beat out several close plays with key slides. Maya Dean had two doubles, while Kala Cinker, Erin Finn, Katie Sheets, and Stephanie Skinger each had a double. Despite some defensive miscues in the fourth, the Hotshots rebounded and closed out the game with a 3-up-3-down inning and game-ending double play in the sixth. Samantha Brophy added humor with a catch suitable for Amercia's Funniest Home Videos.

May 29
Hotshots fall to BAGAA II, 15-8 - Maya Dean contributed a triple. But the most memorable blast was the foul ball that smashed the McBurneys' windshield - a feat not even achieved by Kala Cinker in 2007. And boy did she try!

May 27
Hotshots fall to BAGAA I, 17-6- Maya Dean's homer over the leftfield fence was the sole highlight for the Hotshots.

May 25
Kala Cinker, Kara Cinker, and Maya Dean figured in on double plays in the field,
while Kala and Jenna Parks each hit triples, and Dean and Emily McBurney
contributed doubles in a 10-4 victory over BAGAA 2.

May 4
Maya Dean hit a homer, and Erin Finn contributed two doubles in a 19-9 loss to DeHaven.
