Preps for Bauerstown
After two days of tryouts last week, BHAA's 10u all-star team has been selected and has begun to prepare to compete in the Bauerstown slowpitch tournament beginning July 19. The team will be coached by John Salamacha (Crush), Lynda Kainz (Crush), and John Arlett (Dolphins).

The coaches would like to thank everyone who showed interest in being on the tournament team. The coaches knew that making the decisions would be hard but it actually was even harder than we expected. For those that did not make it this year, don't give up, there's always next year.

After evaluating each girl's performance during the regular season and combining that with the observations during tryouts, the coaches selected the following girls for the tournament team:

Brit Geiger
Chandler White
Eryn Oberst
Haley Arlett
Haley Brady
Madison Liston
Olivia Horgan
Sami Leicher
Sara Kainz
Shaun Eubanks
Shayla Salamacha
Tayjah White

The alternates (reserves) will be chosen from the list above after a few practices. This approach will give the coaches additional time to evaluate each girl. This will also give the girls the opportunity to prove themselves by working hard and giving that extra effort that may just turn out to be the deciding factor between being a starter and being a reserve.

Heat In Action Too!
BHAA's 12u Heat will play in tournaments at McCandless beginning July 11 and at Ingomar next weekend.
